On Jan. 19, the Health Commission of Qinghuangdao published the list of nucleic acid testing institute for the public. Biotecan, assigned as the only third-party institute, undertook the nucleic acid testing mission to help the prevention of local epidemic.

On Jan. 19, The Office of Leading Group for Responding to Covid-19 Epidemic announced that everyone entering Qinghuangdao must be tested for COVID-19.

Due to the difficult situation in pandemic and the holiday of out-of-town students, the demands of nucleic acid testing increased significantly. In order to prevent and control the epidemic, as well as cutting off the potential spreading pathway of the virus, Biotecan, assigned as the only third-party institute, undertook the nucleic acid testing task to help the prevention of the epidemic.

For this task, Biotecan sent a team to Qinghuangdao with powerfully profession and well-experienced specialists from Dalian, Shanghai, Henan, and Shanxi. With the support from every department in Biotecan, our team built the mobile shelter lab strictly followed by the instruction from the local Health Commission in the shortest time, devoting to the prevention of epidemic.
